Beth Karabensh

Softball
Induction Year: 2017
Inducted on February 18, 2017
Softball 1995-1997

A two-time all-region and All-American performer, Beth was a key player on IHCC teams that went 118-18 over a two-year period.  Her Indian Hills coach Jeff Kelley said she was one of the top two catchers in the state of Colorado coming out of high school and she proved it by becoming a first-team all-region pick in both years at Indian Hills and a second-team All-American each year, while being chosen the team MVP as a sophomore.  Two decades after graduating from IHCC, Beth is still second all-time in career RBIs and second and tenth in RBIs in a single-season.  Her 90 runs-batted-in in 1997 ranked in the top 10 in that category in the NJCAA record book.  She is also number-two in school history in both single-season and career on-base percentage.  On the softball career leaderboard, Beth remains second in walks (73) and fifth in hits (170) and triples (13).  Beth continued her education and softball career at Colorado State University, where she was as an Academic All-Mountain West Conference selection after her senior year.
